About Us

We believe in the small but mighty. Small plants with mighty nutrition. Small actions with mighty results. Small steps toward a mighty future.

Our Story

We are a family business of health enthusiasts with a love for farming, sustainability, and vibrant living, which led us into selling micro-greens.
As a big family, we have grown micro-greens for ourselves and incorporated them into meals every single day since 2008. Our kids loved them, our friends and family loved them… and our chickens loved them. So, we thought “why stop there?” We needed to share these soil-grown gems with our community and fellow health enthusiasts. From a desire to share the goodness that we were so fortunate to know and grow, our idea sprouted into Timely Harvest, and we were finally ready to start selling in 2014.

We believe that good food is the foundation for a vibrant life, so we pour our hearts into every seed we sow. We owe our success to collaboration and our family’s shared love for excellent quality food, nutrition, and sharing a great meal around the table.

In 2017, we hired our first migrant worker from Mexico, Paco. His genuine kindness, hardworking character, and love for life instantly connected with us.

After years of traveling back and forth between Canada and Mexico to see his wife, Alejandra, and their 4 children, he decided he was ready to move to Canada with his entire family to establish his new home. Paco and his family have become inseparable from our business and family. We are so grateful for his dedication to growing delicious micro-greens and adding a special touch to each leaf we grow. Together, we have cultivated a great friendship and successful business.

At our farm, we believe that farming goes beyond growing food; it’s a way of life. We grow our greens with love, care, and sustainable practices to ensure they are bursting with flavour and nutrients. From seed to harvest, we prioritize the health and well-being of our customers the same way we would for our own family.

So, come join us on this farm-to-fork journey, where every bite is a celebration of health and joy. We can’t wait to bring a little taste of our greenhouse and a whole lot of love for what we do, to your plate!
